At this point too if Disney is going to release a new Star Wars movie per year they are also going to have to live with the fact that whether fans like the movie or not they're only going to see it once at the theater.
No "normal" person is seeing Star Wars in the theater 2-3 times ... TFA got that boost because it was the first Star Wars in 10 years and the first one in the vein of the more popular original trilogy in 30+ years. You can't expect people to spend $30+ per person going to Star Wars yearly.
It's going to become a "see it once, then go see something else like Jumanji" type thing from here on out.
