Is that always Rockstars formula? To release several iterations under the same parent title/engine.

 

 Well GTA3 was made to be a 3D version of the first map in GTA1, GTAVC and GTASA are the other two cities in GTA1. GTA4 is supposed to be the first city in GTA2 so going by the trend yes.GTA2 also had 6 maps?plus two expansions so there should be a ton of games in between.
