And would you like to know what happens when male role models are axed in reboots/continuations of cult classics that appealed to primarily male audiences? You get Ghostbusters. The first point on my drives home what I said, and the second point only draws more attention to how lousy of a character Rey is. More importantly, it draws attention to how lousy both Johnson and Abrams are.
