Oh for fucks sake. What were they smoking when they thought it would be a good idea to gate story progress behind abilities the player may not even have. Field skills are such a terrible, terrible idea. So which are the ones I should be trying to get, to save me getting cockblocked later? |
For the story sequences, a decent amount of Earth, Wind and Electric mastery. Fortitude as well in case you haven't worked too much with QT.
Truth to be told, I never had problems with the field skills, only at Chapter 8 where the game asked for, I think, 5 points of Electric mastery to open a door. Since Electric Blades were rarer for me in my first playthrough, I had to resonate with a few cores. Can imagine how tedious it must've been for players that don't take side stuff and Affinity Charts as important, though.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
