Overall last gen Nintendo had only year of loses in its entire history (more than 100 years), but regardless that they managed to finish even that gen in profit.
You again comparing Switch thats only one year on market and PS4 thats 4 years on market. How much Sony made profit after PS4 first year on market, and how much Nintendo will make profit after full fiscal year with Switch, that will be intresting.

Wii u may have bombed year 1 but 3ds didn't. Hell it even outpaced switch year 1 in Japan. Going from 3ds + Wii u sales to switch is nothing compared to ps4.

Comparing 2 consoles to 1 consoles sales to justify how it doesn't look impressive that 1 console hasn't bounced back strong against 2 consoles sales when you look at the Switch v PS4 is very biased.
Nintendo has done a phenomenal job getting The Switch into consumers hands.
