IIRC, Benji said that the Switch had a good lead leading up to Black Friday, but didn't say that the Switch won the whole month. After the BF weekend, he said that the PS4 sold insane numbers and bet on the PS4 winning overall according to his numbers.

We'll see when details of December NPD leak. I'm willing to put my trust on his (and Abdiel's) assessment.

He  said PS4 and xbox had great black Fridays weekends, and would probably beat switch, then in his next post, he says he's not sure because switch was selling great, and it could end up winning. basically covering all the angles.
