One thing I'd like to see in the sequel is using the extra baseline power of the Switch, together with engine and design improvements, to further increase the amount and density of interactive elements. As awesome as Botw's multiplicative gameplay was, there were times when there wasn't much around to use.

Maybe they could add water weapons/runes that puts out fire, create wet ground that you can then electrify to zap the enemies standing in them, or slide on with your shield, or get bigger enemies bogged down in.

Or make it that burning certain plants creates smoke that you can use as a screen to sneak up on enemies.

The possibilities of this gameplay model are practically endless, I just hope they take advantage of the potential it offers.
