There is difference between game with wide apelling (game that could be played buy almost anybody) and kid friendly. And thats exatly point with most of Nintendo IPs, they could be played but hole family. Actually for next year Nintendo is aiming to increase apeling for Switch on market from mostly young adults and mostly males.

Switch is selling better than 3DS because has incomparible stronger concept and has stronger games, despite it has higher price point than 3DS. Switch are also buying people that are not Nintendo fans. You can believe whatever you want, but fact is that kids are not main Switch market, Nintendo games are appealing for hole family not just for kids, so you are obviously wrong.

The problem is that the demographic information from Nintendo contradicts your point (https://segmentnext.com/2017/05/01/nintendo-switch-demographics-ps4-xbox-one/). The largest base on this system are young adults, the demographics are very similar to that of Sony and MS. The fact that the primary audience is similar to the other two systems is backed up by Sony themselves who have said that many people that own Switch also own PS4 (source: http://ca.ign.com/articles/2017/06/06/sony-exec-shawn-layden-calls-nintendo-switch-a-great-success); ie much like GBA owners that were also PS2/Xbox/GC owners and DS/PSP owners also owned Wii/X360/PS3, etc. Now the age precentages could change after the holidays, because the system has also been building a base among younger audiences (these groups typically do not have their own income so they are reliant on parents to purchase them the system). Now base expansion that will tip the demographic ratios towards teens and younger audiences, IMO, will only be possible once the price of the system drops, but the base will nevertheless expand towards these younger groups during holidays (which also when base expansion took place for PS4 and XONE for younger audiences, because again this is when parents typically buy things for their children).

Also, regarding your previous comments on mobile, the impact on Switch will pretty much be similar to that of PC gaming on home consoles. By which I mean it will create more competition for Switch than, say, a console like Wii and DS had to contend with, but it certainly does not prevent it from growing. The type of experience offered on Switch versus a smartphone is completely different (far more so than PC gaming and home consoles, which are similar, yet the rise of the PC has not killed the consoles; which something that analysts continually predicted since the late 1980s), and those that want more varied gameplay experiences on-the-go will purchase Switch (and that includes kids particularly when franchises like Pokemon hit and the system's price is lowered). The people that will most likely not purchase the Switch are the casuals (middle age/senior women, senior men, etc.) that resulted in DS + PSP doing 200+M; but looking prior to the more casual friendly DS + PSP, the GBA sold 80+ million units and the sales of 3DS + PSV are also around 80+ million, that is the core base that still purchases handhelds (despite mobile) and that base has remained fairly stable. Also, the impact of mobile, PC, and smart streaming devices has resulted in a smaller home console market this generation when compared to the previous generation, that does not mean home consoles are suddenly not viable (the sales of PS4 and XONE which combined are now 90+ contradict that view) just because they are facing more competition from other products, the same will be true for Switch.

both of you are missing the point. I Already know nintendo switch is selling to younger males, obviously the system just came out so the majority of nintendo fans ( younger males) will be it's demographic because its basically where all nintendo fans will have to game, and it just came out. going forward and keeping momentum, it will be dependent on the kid market just like all nintendo handhelds

No you again missing a point, and point is that Nintendo this time around is marketing Switch for young adults on first place, that's totally different to Wii U, 3DS and Wii marketing, and actually most Switch owners are young males, while we could argue if that was relly case for 3DS and Wii for instance even in first year. Also you again missing point that Switch is not only handheld (its home console in same time) so of course it will not depend on kid market, and even 3DS for instance start being more appealing for kids when got price point $150 or lower while Switch is $300. Also its not like that Nintendo are only buying Nintendo fans, and how time goes more and more non-Nintendo fans also will buying Switch.
