The movie was great and had a lot of layers. For example, I know we were all disappointed at first that Rey's parents were nobodies considering that every major force user seems to be connected to someone important. They even build us up on the suspense to find out Rey's parents. However, this allowed us to feel Rey's disappointment (breaking the fourth wall a little) and later it actually has a great message. The force belongs to everyone, even nobodies. Yoda strike the temple (along with all the rule books) down as a metaphor that tells us it is time to break tradition and the force belongs to everyone. The last Jedi in a sense because the force belongs to everyone.
