I felt that they made Poe look weak especially in the escape portion of the story. I thought they were gonna make the vice admiral lady be a villain , a traitor but nope...

Overall, I enjoyed the movie quite well despite its obvious flaws.

Btw who were those red guys in the scene where both Rey and Ren fought after killing Snoke? Were they the knights of ren?

They are called Praetorian Guards and are based on Emperor Palpatine's Imperial Guards, who also wore red. As far as I know the Knights of Ren are separate, they were other students of Luke's that Kylo corrupted and took with him. Which means they are all force sensitive. Kylo is supposed to be their leader, but we still haven't seen them after 2 movies. I assume now that Kylo is leading the First Order we will see them as his personal guards in Episode 9. 

The Knights of Ren did make an appearance during the making of this movie, they accompanied Kylo to the Jedi Temple where Luke was training Ray in an earlier draft of the movie, flying out on a Tie Silencer and confronting Luke before he would complete the training of "The Last Jedi" but that scene will most likely only exist now in deleted scenes.
