No wonder it does, since both are successors of Wasteland. The creators from Fallout 1 (of whom many are on the Wasteland 2 team) just couldn't get the rights on Wasteland back when they wanted to make a sequel. Oh, and guess who was holding the rights to Wasteland back then? EA
