Exactly. and what's really funny about this is that all the people talking about aligning stuff are ignoring one very crucial detail. 

in all those months before the launch of the PS2 in NA and Europe. they had managed to ship only 3.5M units. That number jumped to 6M+ total shipped units after the release in the other territories. 

Sony sold through (not shipped) more than 4M PS4s in 6 weeks. 

Bruh, that's the point... Of course the PS2 sold a lot slower in its first 9 months because it was only available in Japan...
