Sony and third parties generally target Q1 and Q2 for ps4 sales of Japanese targeted software. 

Thats not stupid at all especially when your talking about 2016 holiday so much with FFXV.

 

That said sony tends to have stronger Q1 than nintendo going by trends, but dont make excuses for having a bad Q4 lineup. If anything then its stupid on them for letting go the most important quarter of the year wouldnt you agree?

 

Look at Western Devs. COD/AC/Battlefield/etc is all launched in Q4. Fifa being a Sept release is smart for it, but not having games for holidays (japan in this case) isnt that smart tbh. COD is the biggest seller for the holidays for the ps4 vs SMO/USUM/Splat2/Botw/etc.
