Switch will do just fine in 2018, it still have momentum and I'm sure Nintendo will have something lined up, and for now 3rd party are still releasing games at a good pace. So seems healthy.

PS4 has so many big 1st party games that its going to continue to do well.

MS has the biggest problem, they are going to get squeezed by Nintendo's portability and 2nd console purchase, and squeezed on the lack of any really good/big pulling 1st party games. I like what I've seen with Sea of Thieves but its a MP based game, I would like it to do well as I know someone working on it, but my heart says its just going to do poorly. Crackdown looked trash and unless they've worked really hard since its delay, I can't see them being able to turn it around, it seemed a little too thin of gameplay like Agents of Mayhem. The zombie game they are doing, its coming out on PC... and so really theres very little to get excited about. Now I suspect MS has probably spent money courting 3rd parties to release only on Xbox, what those titles will be will be interesting. If they are like Tomb Raider, there will be internet meltdowns (and rightly so). Hopefully its not games that have a history on PS.

So Overall my 2018 thoughts are:

Sony and Nintendo will continue to do well and will swap NPD wins.
MS will be bringing up the rear, but considering their declines this year, probably will be up a small amount or flat YOY.

I totally agree with this.
