A lot of factors to take into account for November. Going to be really interesting to see who wins this month.

Whether Pro sold more or less than XB1X at launch doesn't mean much overall. It does matter as to who comes out on top for the month. Even though XB1X was officially announced first, Pro was the first to drop, and the first to take a stab at a mid gen console. Some were totally into this, some were totally against it, and many didn't know what to think. Pro paved the way, and that tends to leave it more bruised and battered early on.

After an entire year of having Pro around, and having another console to compare to, it would not be surprising to see XB1X sell better than Pro did at launch. From XB1 and XB1S always being weaker than both PS4's, to being able to clearly see that the mid gen consoles would get worthwhile support and were worth their retail price, the XB1X had a better chance of having a stronger launch than Pro.

The real question will be whether or not XB1X continues to sell well, or if it influences people to buy a XB1S instead, or does XB trend downwards to where they were before? Hard to say for now.

It's most likely going to trend downward again. It sells well in the holidays but weak the rest of the year. I think the reason is obvious. During the slow 9 1/2 months games push sales and with Xbox behind in that area it will likely happen again. Although 2018 does look very good for Xbox games compared to the last 3-5 years. They need to be good though. State of decay 2 needs to be good, so does crackdown3, sea of theives, ori 2, forza horizon 4, ashen, and halo 6(assuming it's 2018). If those games are good plus they get 1-2 more solid games(not announced yet) then they could be just fine. And rdr2, and anthem showing the difference between pro and the X will help too.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)
