This is what I expected to happen. Still think Switch will come in third.

he has made multiple comments in that thread regarding X1 and PS4 having great weeks. If that is the case, when X preorders are considered, no way Xbox isn't above PS for the month if what he has seen is true of other stores

I think he's trying not to give the result because he knows whats happening in his store but not all stores, but I read it as PS4 did considerably better, and XBOX did very well this week compared to switch, which is what we expected.

XBOX's issue was that XB1s sales have been very poor of late and of course that would be tempered by the X1X, so though those pre-orders might be not bad, this would be offset by poor X1s sales... now with BF and X1s sales, that would have pumped up the sales and thus in total make it jump ahead of the switch (most likely) but not ahead of the PS4.
