While I won't go as far as ever calling the PS4 and underdog this gen nor do I feel anyone has to "win"; he does have a point.  

The NS doesn't need to have a price cut to compete with the PS4. This is its first year on the market and is its first holiday. It should be the hot holiday item this year. And PS4 is 4yrs old. I do fear for its stock though, like what I have been saying for a while..... I sincerely feel nintendo's performance this holiday would be fully determined by its stock. 

You could maybe call PS4 an underdog against the switch but Xbox? It's done poorly all year and the market for mid gen upgrades isn't huge. The pro did 250k in its launch last November. Xbox x could double that n still loose.
