You can get it for cheaper sooner than later sometimes, have achievements/trophies, bigger userbase for online MP on competitor platforms.
I guess the only benefit would be if it comes bundled with everything like Disgaea 5 Complete or for portability use but I'd rather get exclusives on the Switch. |
Being able to put more hours into a game faster by being able to continue playing outside of my house is 1000x more important to me than meaningless achievement points and trophies. Finishing a game in 3 months, as opposed to over a year, because I was able to play it at work on lunch break, walking my dog in the park, on vacation, etc. offers me WAY more value than a meaningless collection of points on Xbox (I do have an Xbox One) or a digital trophy on Play Station. Finishing games in less time, means I get to play MORE games per year now. Portability isn't merely a benefit, it's a massive benefit.
