PS4 is going to have to remain right up there for the rest of the month to even have a chance of being competitive

This is the problem with Amazon, we just don't know what happened in the previous weeks, perhaps for example (example data)...

Week 1: Ps4 sold 30k, and Switch 40k

Week 2: Ps4 sold 30k, and switch 40k

That means switch is leading by 20k. Doing well at that point if the month was going as normal, but this is November and Black Friday month.....Then discount and black Friday comes in and we saw this with other products (like the pro) which didn't get the discount last year, it didn't push much (people want deals).

Week 3: PS4 sells 90k, and switch sells 40k

Suddenly PS4 is leading by 30k.... its all hypothetical, but you get the point, if the gap isn't that big at the moment, this week and Black Friday make up a lot of the sales for the month, can all change quite easily (especially as the numbers for this month are a lot higher than the numbers I quoted above).

If Nintendo cannot discount their product much as its the first year, then it will have a less of an impact this week. The same will be said for XB1X, which is why in the UK and I am sure in the USA the XBs is getting the major discounts. XB1s is 220 with Battlefront.

That's a good thing to remember, especially for a comparison between one sku on each side. But there are multiple skus, and we know that two Switch skus and however many Xbox skus were above PS4 so far this month, which complicates things even more, because the gap must be at least 2:1 or 3:1 or whatever,

It can all change through the next week or so of course like you said. But I'm pretty sure PS4 has a ton of catching up to do on this occasion
