Personally, I don't see myself getting tired of Smash 4 anytime soon and it's been 3 years, plus its console cycle is already over. Super Metroid is still fun 23 years after. Mario Party 2 is still the most fun in its franchise.

Yeah, and there's people out there that think Trump is doing a good job in office. Just because a small cliche of people enjoy something doesn't make it logical for Nintendo as a business. If you look at the analytics, the overwhelming majority of people move on from games really quickly, DLC or not.
