FIFA on Switch is a quality game.
I just don't think there is much market left for the types of games EA makes (primarily sports games) because Sony and MS have cornered that market.
There's no part of that userbase left for Nintendo. Sony includes NBA 2K in their major marketing, they even spend huge dollars to get the Playstation logo/symbols on the home floor of the Golden State Warriors. FIFA is obviously also huge to Sony/MS.
Nintendo hasn't really made any efforts with sports gamers and they basically aren't thought of as a valid option for those types of games by that audience. Maybe that can change, but Nintendo themselves has to help out moreso I think. Hate to say it but Iwata was really poor on sports games and got them out of making sports titles so Nintendo's had not much of a foothold there for so long.
