There were many that were optimistic about the Switch, even right after the october trailer, like me.It wasnt all doom and gloom as you suggest.

Of course no. But i know for sure that 90% of people were absolutely insane with their predictions. I remember as well some optimist (well, optimist is not the right word, more like REALISTIC ) prediction, i think i rememb you as well.

But, you get the point... most people were super wrong.
