I mean, given the short time it took for them to get it together, i could see them not bothering to edit the credits. But it was published in western markets by Nintendo. The game wouldnt have came out whatsoever but if it werent for Nintendo, the western audience may have never gotten to play it. 

It was localized by Nintendo, not published. They could have got a different localization team if Nintendo didn't localize it.
It's not a Nintendo game, Nintendo has no ownership of the game, it is Treasure/Enix.
