Never said anything against gays or crossdressers in the army. I'm assuming the amiibo doesn't actually change Marios gender, so he should still be allowed in?
In all seriousness, the main reason (in my opinion) why Trump disallowed those people from joining the military is so people can't sign up only to receive government funded transition services (which cost thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars, each), which costs the taxpayers a bunch of money.
