What's your favourite Souls game? What's your least liked/most disliked one? How would you rank them?
My order would be Dark Souls on the top, followed by Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 practically equal, and Dark Souls 2 after that, although I think they are all great games. The first DS is my favourite mostly because of its world and lore. While the later games have the edge in terms of gameplay, they haven't quite reached the same perfect feel and atmosphere as the first did, although they are certainly great as well.
Favourite boss in the franchise?
Too many to choose from.
Something you'd change from a specific game? An area, specific part of a lore, a dungeon?
Small stuff mostly. Only being able to level up in one place in DS2 and 3 for example. It's not a huge thing, but just feels like a waste of time to have to go back to "base" to level up every single time.
Most frustrating moment for you?
Couple places in the DS2 DLC areas I suppose. The gauntlet to get to the Smelter Demon and the snowfield in Eleum Loyce I ended up giving up on in the end. I got to the bosses, but having to run through such annoying areas to get back to try again just got too frustrating after a while.
What was Miyazaki thinking when designing Dark Souls 3?
Don't know what you really mean by this. So far I've thoroughly enjoyed the game from start to almost the end. I'm currently finishing the second DLC and then I just have the final area left to do.
