Black Panther does have advanced physical capabilities. He's roughly Captain America level in the comics. His suit is constructed of the same metal that composes Captain America's shield. This greatly boosts his durability. In fact his country is virtually the world's only source for vibranium. He does make use of his technology. I'm curious to see how they ultimately handle is MCU incarnation. He's essentially a better version of Batman. He's physically superior, has more monetary resources, and better technology.
