Then do that

His feelings are understandable. Assassins Creed utterly influenced my easy boredom of open world games. I couldnt even play Shadow of Mordor because of that. The repetitive nature of the fetch quests and handholding for forty hours was a chore. Zelda is serious therapy right now. As i've been talking to you now, I wonder what games bore you or caused you not to finish out of boredom.

Oh I wasn't criticizing him. Just asking.

Hmmmm just thinking of the most recent examples off the top of my head :

Uncharted 4 & 3

Majora's Mask(not really the game's fault, just my playthrough dragged on. And I got stuck on the 4th dungeon. Dungeons are the thing I like least about Majora's Mask. It's an amazing game though)

GTA V(boring)

Half Life(I like it a lot from what i've played but there's always a point where I just get bored of it)

Yooka Laylee(terrible)

Dragon Age Origins( THIS is the worst one!!! I love parts of this game sooo much, but it focuses too much on combat! The combat is ... ok. But it's very boring and tedious. It would be so great if it just focused on story more!)

I actually don't have that many recent examples ... because i'm just now getting back into games to be honest : )

It's funny though, honestly I'd probably consider Majora's Mask one of my favorite games, and I could see Half Life becoming one too.
