Reading all these impressions always makes me feel a bit left out. I bought Zelda with my Switch back in April and it just doesn't do it for me. I can acknowledge the excellence of the work put into the game, but the actual game world just hasn't ignited any sort of fascination or wonder in me yet. I think part of me simply craves a story, and Zelda just doesn't provide a narrative that interests me. The combat, as well, is good, but not exceptional (again, IMO) and the game just hasn't captured me the way I was hoping it would after reading the reviews and impressions.
Again, I think it's a great game and can understand why others love it, it just hasn't appealed to me as much as I hoped it would. Oh well, different strokes for different folks, and all that.
