Total 4,372,707 - 3,278,347 = 1094K in 22 weeks = 49,700 per week
That gives for the year 70 x 49.7 K = 3.48 mill (using 70 weeks for the year to take into account the Holiday boost)
* high profile games for PS3 (really just MGS4) and a possible Blu-ray push during the Holidays will increase PS3 sales from current level
* but this will easily be offset by a X360 price drop in NA
So I'd say the PS3 has a chance to outsell the X360 by 3.5 mill max. 10 million X360s sold, 13.5 million PS3s.
Could be less, becuase the potential increase from a X360 price drop depends on scale and timing. Also I haven't looked at the trends of Jan-May 2008 that careful, the last 2 months might have a considerably less weekly lead for the PS3 than 50,000 units.
