Holy mother of cats, the "main character" of Black Clover is even more annoying in anime form than in the manga. I want to kill him already.
Regardless, I would like to note for anyone that rolled their eyes when he said "I'm going to be the Wizard King!" that the manga did get a lot more interesting with the inclusions of the real Magic Knights. They're generally a whole lot cooler than the MC.
Yeah, though, Black Clover is basically Naruto + Bleach + Seven Deadly Sins + One Piece + Fairy Tail. Seriously, I think they consciously picked out the most marketable parts of each one and threw them in a blender.
