Just because retailers aren't getting a large cut doesn't mean anything. Generally retailers don't make much of anything off game hardware to begin with. They stock them because they make money off accessories, games, etc. 

Nintendo is making money on these things, probably a fair amount too. No way is that chipset more than $25 a pop IMO. 

Fair point. Just because the retailers are breaking even doesn't NIntendo isn't making money.
