The answer is pretty much already set IMO. FFXV on Switch is going to happen, Tabata's team just has to figure out the most efficient way of doing it.
Square-Enix president said he wanted every game possible on the Switch and the suits are the ones that pay the bills, this isn't a high school coding club where the developers get to decide what product gets made.
