So basically what your saying is cross play wouldn't be enough of an incentive? Possibly not, but I would have to think if PUBG was only on XB1, yet Fortnite is available to both consoles, and is also cross play between them, that should draw a lot of gamers from both sides. XB gamers seem to be pushing for cross play hard and some are trashing PS for not letting it happen. If Fortnite was the first game to give players this opportunity, you would have to assume the number of gamers, especially on XB, who would take advantage of this, should be massive. Sure PUBG is its own style and some won't like Fortnite's game play, but with the popularity of PUBG's "last man standing", Fortnite Battle Royale could become huge, having a potential player base that large. If cross play were to happen for Fortnite, then it would be highly likely that PUBG would hurry up and launch on PS4 asap, putting a damper on XB1's PUBG timed/launch exclusivity.

PS5 - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.
PRO -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
