Your mistake is you are counting Halo Wars as a mainline Halo game.. Do you want to compare Spartan Assaults and Spartan Strike aswell? Haha honestly it makes no sense. Halo 4 is the 3rd best selling Halo game, and there has only been one mainline Halo game since 4. So 6 has the same fate as 5? Ouch.

GT falls in the exact same catagory as Halo, i am seeing if your vision sees the same results for a franchise which is also in decline. GT6 sold as much as Halo 5 did and was consideriably down on GT5 while GT5 was down on GT4 and GT4 was down on GT3 etc. See my point yet? In your eyes GTS will sell less than GT6 because of decline. Am i right?

They are called sales tendencies, which can be applied to any game.

Halo 5 sold less than Halo 4.

Halo 4 sold less than Halo 3.

Halo Wars 2 sold less than Halo Wars 1.

The series is on a factual sales decline, wether you want to accept it or not.

The Halo franchise is less popular than before, sales prove that.

Your fanatism is clouding your real world perspective, but we are talking about numbers, and numbers dont lie.

Yet you choose to ignore that 4 is also the 3rd best selling Halo game in history.. the game that is on decline? how does that work with your formula? You basically put a full stop on a franchise because of 1 game failuring to sell extremly well? And Halo Wars was never a good seller even on the 360 with the very first game and its marketed towards a completely different audience which is niche on consoles.

Developers can change sales, they can aim high, they can market there games better, they can change or add new features to a game to have it sell better than its predecessor. However you seem to think because Halo 5 and Halo Wars 2 failed to outsell there last entries its game over for the franchise and that Halo 6 and Halo Wars 3 is nothing more than a mediocre selling game and no longer mean anything?

Glad that is your opinion not mine.
