it's a possibility that they won't mess with it too much considering that the source material is anime from the 80's. Yeah, I'm being hopeful. Sony really needs to change out some of their staff in sony pictures.

No, I don't (I haven't brought up feminism at all on this forum in spite of my sig) but it is relvent to films these days because alot of them are getting the pc treatment.  Ghostbusters...... It's a legitimate worry.  I don't want any modern day politics in it so sue me.

I just want to understand, what is your fear related to Robotech, what is the stuff you dont want in the movie , stuff that you think will ruin the movie ?

Do you not understand what I mean by political correctness treatment? I gave ghostbusters as an example and anyone should be able to connect the dots with what I mean. I want the film to follow the plotline of the series and stay faithful to that universe on the major stuff. I don't want to see anything to do with progressivism or political correctness talking points especially the dialog of the characters. I don't want to see any of the characters changed for the sake of being more political correct or for the sake of being "inclusive". Imagine if the next zelda game, Link was a trans black woman who preaches the gospel of socialism and Zelda was a pansexual FTM trans who hates capitalism. This is an extreme example of what I'm talking about and but it still highlights my point. I don't want to see something bastardised for the sake of a political agenda.
