Depends how those games turn out though. If Prime 4 is stylistically like the first three and Monolith's next project isn't cartoony, then yeah, that'll bring some nice variety. But if every single game they bring out is cartoonish, that will get tiresome and dull.

I mean, what do you clasify as cartoony?  In my mind, I see none of those as "cartoony"  Mario is Cartoony.  Breath of the Wild is stylized and Xenoblade is a mix of stylized and realistic and Fire Emblem has an anime style.  And the concept art of the next Monolith project is very much stylized but not cartoony.  And given the artistic approach in Metroid Samus Returns, I highly, highly doubt Metroid Prime will be cartoony or even overly stylized.

I'm including anime and cel shading under the cartoon banner, so that includes both XB2, Botw, and Fire Emblem.

So long as Prime 4 doesn't follow the trend and features more gritty/"realistic" graphics, then I'll be satisfied. It's like pizza; I love pizza but sometimes I feel like eating a nice curry instead.
