I have lost most interest in RPG's. I used to look so forward to them. Here's why.

Yeah. I like the older FFs way better than the modern action ones.
The only game that has transitioned well to 'action rpg' is something like xenoblade.

in the case of a traditional RPG, ATLUS is the cream of the crop. shame you are put off by the mythology it uses.
its slightly different, but I'll also reccomend SRPGs too, like disgaea and fire emblem.
