Roguelikes on the other hand would theoritically be quite simple - especially if we dropped some of the more complex things like randomly generated dungeons for the first try. Also roguelikes are turnbased which I feel would also be a helluva lot easier to program than something in real time. |
I think the game Dtewi wants to make will be mkre of a later platformer. Right now I think we would be happy with a simplified Mario Bros.
