Switching from full seasons to ongoing ones was a measure I took to increase my watching speed. It's way easier for me to watch one episode at a time. When I see a long list I get intimidated and watch less or not at all. That's one of the reasons why why a big backlog is keeping me from watching more.

Every weekend I say to myself to just power through it but so far I always got distracted. I just can't watch too many episodes at a time. While watching anime is a lot of fun, gaming always wins out because it's more interactive and occupies more of my senses at a given time. I can't binge watch a full season in a day like I did when I started watching animes anymore. Hell, I can't even sit through a whole anime movie without taking a break.

I feel like my life needs some serious reconstruction.

Pick the top anime you are most caught up with and just watch that episode or 2, see if it makes you want to watch more.

Idk how many people do this, but for me personally I save up a few 9/10+ anime or at least anime that I think I will like. Then when I feel like I need an anime recharge I watch one of them. After that I feel a need for more anime so I take up a percieved lesser anime right after. Of course sometimes they can surprise me and lead me to watch more as well.

Maybe I should try that. Currently I'm basically doing the opposite. Always trying to watch the lesser ones first to have them behind me and leave the awesome ones for the end. Problem is I never reach the end.

After I sorted out my list and files I have 70 episodes in my backlog. Though 20 of those are shorts. Let's see if I can at least get those done today.
