Watched the English dub (which I think only really recently released?) as the English voice actors for this were really quite amazing, and suited each character so well. Who would of thought an anime about cooking could be so intense? Each episode had me on the edge of my seat as a challenge took place. The brilliant vocabulary describes each dish so well you can almost taste what they're describing. The animation used to visualise the sensation of each taste is done so well (while it's maybe um... let's a say a bit over the top?) still is a treat to the eyes displaying just how much impact each taste of a dish has on the characters.

While my list of anime maybe short, this one has definitely earned a spot as one of my favourites! I've a few more weeks of nothing much but free time on my hands, I definitely intend to discover more Anime that I've been missing out on in that time.

Glad you liked it...it's definitely really unique. As I recall, the author of the manga has a consultant he works with, which is why the recipe explanations are so detailed. I see memes of it a lot, but I enjoy seeing how the author explains how a simple recipe change can have a huge impact on the flavor of the dishes. 

If you're not attached the dub, season 2 aired last year, and season 3 will air in a few weeks, the latter of which has my favorite arc from the manga. No idea how long the dub will take to get there though.

Out of curiosity, how is Erina's voice in the dub? I've heard mixed things about her English voice on Reddit.
