In my experience the people most vocal about hating women or even vice versa women who hate men are usually not getting laid and are pretty fucking bitter about it. Just my experience though.

These people are not the "winners" in life, you run into them outside the confines of the internet and in real life and they are total fucking losers. Again, just my experience though.

My issue was when people started threatening the women in the cast and the ugly backlash, I don't care what Sony did, nothing justified that and those people should go fuck off.

Fandom is fine to a point, but it gets embarrassing and just pure shameful at points, no one disliked the Star Wars prequels more than me, but I was flat out ashamed of people who picked on poor Jake Llyod to the point where the kid apparently had a mental breakdown. That's fucking vile and "fanboy" communities that encourage such behavior should be called out for the losers they are.

None of which has anything to do with Ghostbusters being a bad film. It's honestly pathetic. Instead of debating the merits of the film, they just labelled everyone was mysognists. It's the type of immature and counterproductive behavior that stifles debates. You had people like AVGN getting crushed because he didn't want to see Ghostbusters. He saw the trailers, didn't like them, and wasn't interesting in the film. They went after him like he was criminal. Comic Book Girl 19 caught hell for saying it was bad movie. It's frankly sad. People like you that toss out these insults are just as bad as the actual misogynists out there.

I was just going to bring up that very issue... AVGN simply made a video explaining why he had no interest in seeing the film where he came off as polite and reasonable as humanly possible, and he was met with immediate backlash by at least a dozen or so progressive-leaning websites and was even attacked on Twitter by D-list celebrities like Patton Oswalt, who apparently had nothing better to after the recent death of his wife than to troll people on Twitter.

It's funny how the go-to attack on anyone who disliked or had no intention of seeing the GB reboot was they must be womyn-hating misogynistic basement dwelling virgins, especially since AVGN is not only married but has a young daughter.  The Twitter trolls even made nasty comments about his wife and kid after they found out about them.  All the people that attacked AVGN and other critics did was make the point for everyone who's been saying the movie looked bad since that awful trailer dropped early last year.  It's not our fault the progressive left decided to hold up a bad GB reboot as the next big milestone for feminism.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
