In my experience the people most vocal about hating women or even vice versa women who hate men are usually not getting laid and are pretty fucking bitter about it. Just my experience though. These people are not the "winners" in life, you run into them outside the confines of the internet and in real life and they are total fucking losers. Again, just my experience though. My issue was when people started threatening the women in the cast and the ugly backlash, I don't care what Sony did, nothing justified that and those people should go fuck off. Fandom is fine to a point, but it gets embarrassing and just pure shameful at points, no one disliked the Star Wars prequels more than me, but I was flat out ashamed of people who picked on poor Jake Llyod to the point where the kid apparently had a mental breakdown. That's fucking vile and "fanboy" communities that encourage such behavior should be called out for the losers they are. |
None of which has anything to do with Ghostbusters being a bad film. It's honestly pathetic. Instead of debating the merits of the film, they just labelled everyone was mysognists. It's the type of immature and counterproductive behavior that stifles debates. You had people like AVGN getting crushed because he didn't want to see Ghostbusters. He saw the trailers, didn't like them, and wasn't interesting in the film. They went after him like he was criminal. Comic Book Girl 19 caught hell for saying it was bad movie. It's frankly sad. People like you that toss out these insults are just as bad as the actual misogynists out there.
