I've been meaning to get more into anime for a really long while now. Up until now the only anime I've ever really watched was Pokémon and Yugioh, and I just didn't know where to start. Then I was watching one of Etika's streams and he watched the second episode of My Hero Academia and it just drew me in.

As soon as I got around to watching more episodes I just couldn't stop each one was just so good. The characters, the stories, the emotion, the dialogue, the animation, it's all just so good. I watched the English sub, and am pretty glad I did, I feel like the all the heavy emotion in this anime, would come off more cringey in the English dub to me. The only complaint I have it is probably the super lack of filler from what I'm used to. I mean I know a lot of people usually see it as complaint, but I feel like they could just slow it down a bit with more episodes just focusing on new class lessons.

Anyway if anyone has any anime they'd like to suggest to me, as I'm currently on the look out for more anime to watch. I've currently got my eyes on Assassination Classroom, if you have any others that you think I'm missing out on not watching I'd really appreciate some recommendations.

Good call on MHA...it's one of my favorite series at the moment. I tried a little bit of the dub, and couldn't take more than a minute of it. One of my favorite characters sounded like he was 40...which would be fine if he wasn't a freaking high schooler.

Assassination Classroom is a very good call, it was actually my anime of the year last year. It's pretty goofy initially, and the premise is crazy, but the gag comedy makes the eventual serious arcs that much more powerful. The ending had me actually bawling...it was that powerful.

Could go anywhere with recommendations if you're new to it, but if you don't want something endless, I'd say try Food Wars or One Punch Man. Food Wars: Shokugeki no Souma is one of my favorite manga series, it's essentialy an ecchi battle anime about cooking, and it's glorious. One Punch Man is more of a comedy about an overpowered superhero, but is very well animated and fun to boot.
