Hardly. I would gladly pay more for the same content digitally than having to buy a stupid piece of plastic that I don`t want. So any amiibo support is always going to look like a huge stain on any game.

But you dont have to buy the Amiibos. The game wont change and you wont have any locked content besides maybe cosmetics which dont affect how the game plays.
