I'm going to have to recommend Zelda as well. It is an experience unlike any other.
But you'll have to throw out your expectations based on previous games, because this game does not play like those. For example, the emphasis is no longer on big dungeon completions with bosses at the end. Bosses are scattered mostly through the world, and are defeated to gain resources/strong weapons. But the less you know, and the less conventions you expect, the more enjoyable the experience will be; and I mean this not as a perscription of how to enjoy the game, I mean you will enjoy it no matter what, but follow what I suggest and the sky's the limit.
It is seriously one of those rare extremely standout games that seems to come only once or twice a decade. I think the chance is high that it will be the game of the generation. High in a similar way that it was for Ocarina of Time and Super Mario Bros 3 in their own times. Although, you never know, Link to the Past was a shoe in for that in the SNES era, but then Donkey Kong Country and Chrono Trigger popped up years later (Terranigma wasn't big enough, and I don't think it even came out in some countries).
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
