Yep pretty much.
The next iteration of the switch will have higher resolution and be basically a VR unit out of the box. Of course most people will prefer to use it as a handheld but that's fine with Nintendo.
Metroid Prime is the obvious one but probably not 4.
Metroid Prime 5 in 2021 or a new Metroid VR series.
And expect many Mario Sports titles
