I don't think it's crazy to think Nintendo will enter the VR market at some point. But 2020 is too late for them to become the big "thing" in VR.

By the end of 2020 Sony will be on their second generation of PSVR, HTC will be on probably their third generation Vive and 2nd or 3rd generation standalone VR headset.

Basically what I'm saying is that VR is going to have matured a lot by then and Nintendo is going to have a ton of competition from companies that will have a lot more experience in VR.
