They achieved gigantic growth with Persona 5.
It's literally the fastest selling game in the series and is currently having fantastic word of mouth. It's gonna have legs and continue to be a great success. Not every title has to sell 10 Million units to be successful.
To quote; "Persona 5 is the fastest selling entry in the Persona series yet."
To quote; "Persona 5 is now Atlus' best selling game ever in Japan - and it's only been on store shelves for about three weeks."
