Now he apparently sent off the money for a switch and a company has sympathetically given him a Switch for free....
Stop falling for this kids stupidity and giving him stuff dear lord, either 1 of two things is happening here, the kid is a moron and doesn't know how to look after his cash, or the kid is lying to try to get consoles for free and some media attention.
While the first one might be true, the second one is absolutely happening and because of that the kid is not going to learn his lesson and stop trusting people on the internet who message him "gimme yo money yo, I'm shigeru miyamoto"
