I was there when my coworker bought his Switch and a regular copy of Breath of the Wild with it. So that's one console and one game totaling $360. He then spent more than that in a case, a screen protector, controllers, docks, amiibos, memory cards, network adaptors, etc.
I know he went all out, but it was pretty eye opening. People are spending a lot of money to use the Switch the way they want to.
